With the 2024 MLS season less than a month away, teams are in full preseason mode as they gear up for a long regular season. In Inter Miami‘s case, they must prepare for the Leagues Cup, U.S. Open Cup and CONCACAF Champions Cup as well.

With all four competitions in the back of their minds, the team has started its preseason tour with games in El Salvador and Dallas, Texas. Up next are games against Al Hilal and Al Nassr.

Lionel Messi lands in Riyadh to face Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al Nassr

Dubbed as a “Last Dance” of sorts between Miami’s Lionel Messi and Al Nassr‘s Cristiano Ronaldo, both players are officially in Riyadh as Messi and Inter Miami landed on Thursday.

While Messi will surely play, Ronaldo is still a doubt. Al Nassr had to cancel their friendly matches in China due to the Portuguese star being unable to play because of injury, although the players still flew there and trained.

Al Nassr are now back home in Riyadh, where they await Messi and Inter Miami. Ronaldo has been rehabbing, but there’s been no confirmation that he will be fit for even a few minutes for the friendly match.

Inter Miami and Al Nassr are set to square off on February 1 at Kingdom Arena.
