The 2024-25 Women’s Super League season will run from the weekend of September 21 and 22 to May 10 and 11.

The campaign will follow the 2024 Olympic Games, with the women’s football tournament in Paris taking place between July 24 and August 10.

The 2024-25 campaign marks the first season with NewCo in charge of the league after it agreed to take over the running of the women’s professional game from the Football Association.

The season will start and finish a week earlier than the 2023-24 campaign, which was pushed back due to the scheduling of the 2023 Women’s World Cup.

The Women’s Championship season will start a fortnight earlier than the WSL across the weekend of September 7 and 8 to May 3 and 4.

The 2024-25 Continental Cup group stages are scheduled to start in early October and run until mid December, before the quarter-finals take place on January 22 and 23, semi-finals across February 5 and 6, and the final is scheduled for the weekend of March 15 and 16.

The Women’s FA Cup dates are yet to be confirmed. The FA Cup final had typically been the last game of the campaign, but this season and last season have seen it contested before the conclusion of the WSL.

The annual winter break will run from December 16 to January 18 for both the WSL and Championship.

Teams competing in Champions League qualifiers will start their season before the beginning of the WSL, with the first round of qualifiers set for September 4.
