Luka Modric and Ivan Perisic have been included in Zlatko Dalic’s Croatia squad for this summer’s men’s European Championship in Germany.
38-year-old midfielder Modric and Hajduk Split winger Perisic, 35, are veterans of the Croatia squad and were key players as they reached the final of World Cup 2018.
There are few surprises in Dalic’s 26-man squad for the tournament, with Lyon defender Duje Caleta-Car and 35-time capped winger Josip Brekalo the most notable omissions.
Manchester City duo Josko Gvardiol and Mateo Kovacic are in the squad, with Bayer Leverkusen’s Josip Stanisic, Al Nassr midfielder Marcelo Brozovic and striker Andrej Kramaric of Hoffenheim also included.
Croatia open their Euro 2024 campaign against Spain on June 15 before playing Albania four days later and concluding their campaign against Italy on June 24.
