Tammy Abraham has joined AC Milan on a season-long loan from Roma.
The former Chelsea striker, 26, will spend the remainder of the 2024-25 campaign at San Siro with the possible option to make the switch permanent.
Alexis Saelemaekers, the Belgium international winger, heads in the opposite direction on loan.
Milan have already signed striker Alvaro Morata from Atletico Madrid this summer but France international Olivier Giroud joined LAFC.
Abraham joined Roma from Chelsea in the summer of 2021 and netted 27 goals in his debut season, helping the club to win the Conference League.
He scored just nine goals in the 2022-23 campaign, in which he suffered a tear to his anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) at the end of the season after helping Roma reach the Europa League final, in which they suffered defeat to Sevilla.
The 11-time capped England international missed 10 months of action and was only available for selection from April 2024 onwards.
Abraham scored 30 goals for Chelsea having progressed through the club’s youth system and also had loan spells at Bristol City, Swansea City and Aston Villa earlier in his career.
