Bournemouth are working on a deal to sign Sassuolo midfielder Hamed Traore.
The south coast club have been monitoring the 22-year-old since November and are confident of agreeing a deal that is expected to be worth £20million before the window shuts.
The versatile midfielder has made 11 Serie A appearances this season, registering three assists. Across his three-and-a-half seasons with Sassuolo, Traore has played in central and attacking midfield as well as on both wings.
Roma’s Matias Vina is also due to fly to the United Kingdom today to undergo a medical ahead of his loan move to Bournemouth.
Last week, the club agreed a deal to sign the left-back on loan with an option to buy at the end of the season.
The 25-year-old is set to join the south coast club for a €500,000 loan fee which could rise to €750,000 if certain bonuses are met.
