Bournemouth have completed the signing of defender Dean Huijsen from Juventus.
The 19-year-old, who spent last season on loan at Roma, has signed a six-year contract with the south coast club.
Huijsen made one first-team appearance at Juventus, whom he joined in 2021 from Malaga, before playing 14 matches for Roma during the 2023-24 season, scoring twice.
Born in Amsterdam, Huijsen moved to Spain at the age of five and began his youth career at Costa Unida, before moving to Malaga in 2015.

Bournemouth chief executive Neill Blake has said of the signing: “We are delighted to bring in a player of such high calibre on a long-term deal.
“Dean is someone that has such exciting potential and we are all excited to see where his journey with the club will go. We’re looking forward to welcoming him to Vitality Stadium and working together to help develop further all the qualities that he already possesses.”
Hujsen joined Juventus in 2021 and having initially played for their Under-17s, he rose through the ranks to make one senior appearance for the club’s first team.
The defender becomes Bournemouth’s sixth signing of the summer following the arrivals of Luis Sinisterra, Enes Unal, Alex Paulsen, Daniel Jebbison and Koby Mottoh.
He is the first defensive reinforcement for Andoni Iraola’s side following the exits of Lloyd Kelly and Ryan Fredericks at the end of their contracts.
