UFC boss Dana White has explained why he is no longer allowed to gamble at some of Las Vegas’ biggest casinos.
The 55-year-old is a prominent gambler having previously explained his love for games including blackjack.
Often seen at some of the United States’ most prominent casinos, White has been blacklisted due to his large stakes.
Explaining so in a recent interview with GQ, the UFC tycoon detailed more on his specific banning order.
“It’s not that I’m banned from casinos, it’s just that they don’t want me to play there,” White explained in a recent Q&A with supporters.
“They won’t give me the limits that I want and let me bet as much as I want because they don’t like to lose.
“The Palm has kicked me out of there twice, the Mirage, the Wynn will not let me play.
“The only places that will let me play in town are Ceasar’s Palace, the Bellagio and the Venetian, all of those guys take really big play, but if you are a big player and you come into town you’re insane not to play at Caesar’s Palace.
“Caesar’s Palace is by far the best casino in the world.”
Another internet celebrity Joe Rogan has also in the past detailed stories of White’s gambling, having witnessed it first hand over the years.
“I’m good friends with Dana White, and uh, Dana’s a.. he’s a real degenerate,” he began on a podcast episode.
“Well, Jamie and I went to visit—we went with Shane Gillis and a bunch of other guys to visit Dana while he was gambling.
“When we got there, he was down $600,000, and I was like, What is happening here? I was getting anxiety just sitting there watching.
“Then Taylor Lewan came over, and Dana and Taylor have this deal where Dana teaches Taylor what to gamble and how to do it.
“They’re down $120,000 in, what, five minutes? Five minutes, and they’re down 120 grand, and I’m just sitting there going—what the—look, Dana is rich as s**t.
“I know Taylor is wealthy, but there’s a level where losing $125,000 is still $125,000.”
