Only 22 England players have reported to St George’s Park after three stars pulled out of the squad.

England will be without a trio of stars for upcoming UEFA Nations League games after three players pulled out of the squad.

The Three Lions host Greece and travel to Finland in the international break and Lee Carsley announced a 25-man squad last week.

However, on Monday evening it emerged that Kobbie Mainoo, Ezri Konsa and Morgan Gibbs-White had all pulled out.

The remaining 22 players have reported to St George’s Park as usual, and as per Henry Winter, no replacements are planned as of yet.

All three players were forced off in their Premier League matches over the weekend.

Ezri Konsa lasted just 15 minutes in Aston Villa’s 0-0 draw with Manchester United and had to be replaced by Diego Carlos after suffering what appeared to be a hamstring injury.

Mainoo went off late in the same game having been left out of United’s Europa League draw with Porto due to a fitness concern.

Meanwhile, Gibbs-White was taken off after 76 minutes in Nottingham Forest’s 1-1 draw away at Chelsea.

The former Wolves man, who only recently made his England debut, needed to have a scan to assess the problem sustained when he had a shot blocked.

This is Carsley’s second camp with the senior squad after wins over the Republic of Ireland and Finland in the Nations League last time out.

Angel Gomes and Noni Madueke all keep their places in the squad after impressing, while the likes of Phil Foden, Cole Palmer, Jude Bellingham and Kyle Walker have all returned.

Spurs striker Dominic Solanke has received a first call-up for seven years – having made his debut in 2017 against Brazil.

Jarrod Bowen, James Maddison and Morgan Rogers are among those to have missed out.

Currently second in Nations League Group B2, England welcome Greece to Wembley on Thursday before travelling to Helsinki to play Finland on Sunday.
