Fans have been left in stitches after a text that Speed sent to Cristiano Ronaldo ‘leaked’ online.
In recent years, popular streamer IShowSpeed, real name Darren Watkins, has risen to fame largely due to his love of footballing great Ronaldo.
After several failed attempts, the American finally met the five-time Ballon d’Or winner last year after Portugal’s win over Bosnia and Herzegovina.
And now, the first text that Speed sent to his idol since their meeting has been revealed online, and fans cannot believe it.
Last week, MrBeast, the biggest YouTuber in the world, released a video with Ronaldo following the podcast that the pair recorded the week before.
After the video, MrBeast, real name Jimmy Donaldson, got Speed in contact with the striker by adding him into the group chat that the YouTuber had set up with Ronaldo.
As revealed by Speed on his livestream, in a text to the group, MrBeast wrote: “Ronaldo, this is Speed the biggest streamer in the world, he wanted to say hi.”
And once he had been added to the chat, Speed took the chance to speak with his sporting hero.
“Hey Ronaldo, It’s Speed, we met about last year. I just wanted to say hi, and hopefully we can meet again soon. Cheers,” wrote the 19-year-old.
Reacting to a clip of the text exchange on X, one fan wrote: “This is gonna be another life changing moment for him, if it gets accepted
Another agreed, writing: “Yeah Speed serious with this stream he really wants it to happen one way or another

While one fan suggested: “Ronaldo is not gonna reply to that s***…he hated speed low-key.’
And Ronaldo isn’t the only major footballing star that Speed now has saved on his phonebook, after he recently revealed that he also had the phone number of a Real Madrid star.
In a video with House of Highlights, the streamer said that he had the contact details of revealed that Los Blancos star and 2024 Ballon d’Or runner-up Vinicius Jr.
He then appeared to facetime the Brazilian international, but the voice that answered could not be identified.
