Taylor Swift's reaction after Jason Kelce smashes fan's phone over disgusting comment about brother Travis

The pop star has reacted to the viral moment.

Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce have reacted to the viral clip of the NFL star’s brother smashing a fans phone after he made a disgusting comment about the couple.

Since rumours of Swift and Kelce’s relationship began circulating at the end of last year, they have become one of the biggest celebrity relationships in years.

The pop star has regularly been seen supporting her partner during his NFL matches for the Kansas City Chiefs, while Kelce has appeared in some of Swift’s concerts during the Eras tour.

And now, the couple have been forced to react after a clip went viral online of Jason Kelce, the brother of Travis, smashing a fan’s phone after they made a horrific comment about the couple.

While the older Kelce brother was at Penn State over the weekend for a college American football game, a fan approached him while recording and asked him a question using a homophobic slur.

The fan approached Jason, shouting: “‘Hey Kelce! How does it feel your brother is a f****t for dating Taylor Swift?”

The former NFL player then grabbed the phone out of the fan’s hands, threw it on the ground and replied: “Who’s the f****t now?”

And according to The Daily Mail, both Swift and Travis are appalled by the homophobic comments and stand by Jason’s actions.

A source said to be close to the couple told the Mail : “Taylor and Travis were both really shocked by this considering Jason is one of the nicest guys in the world.

“It really became clear how much he loves and respects Taylor. Travis means the world to him.

“The use of the word f****t is not okay with him nor anyone. This fan crossed the line. Jason will never stand for anyone insulting his family and he views Taylor as family now.”

The source did not elaborate on Travis and Swift’s feelings about Jason’s own use of the slur, nor has Jason himself made any comment on the incident.

Jason’s next public appearance is currently set to be on Monday night as a pundit for his brother’s NFL match as the Chiefs face Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
