Napoli star Scott McTominay scored in just 26 seconds during his side’s Serie A clash against Como.
The Scotland international has impressed many in Italian football since arriving on a permanent deal from Manchester United in the summer.
He joined the club for a reported €30.5 million, bringing to an end a 22-year association with United that dated back to when he was just five years old.
He has scored or assisted goals in each of his last two games for Antonio Conte‘s side.
And McTominay now has his first Serie A goal for his new club – and it arrived in quick-fire fashion.

McTominay has already received significant praise from sections of the Italian press, with Calcio Mercato calling him ‘Napoli’s next idol‘ after Diego Maradona and Edinson Cavani.
Days later, he then penned an incredible 1,000-word open letter to Napoli supporters.
Within the letter – which touched on his passions outside of football, his family life and desire to learn the language quickly – McTominay wrote: “My dream is to win the Scudetto with Napoli, to win trophies and be successful.
“I just want to do my best to help the team, fight for the future and push my career to the max.
“I want to be as fit as possible and train as hard as I can for the rest of my career, which I hope will be very long.
“Hello to all Napoli fans, I’m sorry that my Neapolitan is not very good. I hope to learn very soon. Thank you so much for the warm welcome, I am very happy to be here and ready to work for you. Thank you!”
With Napoli top of Serie A heading into Friday night’s fixture, and his former club United in 13th in the Premier League after six games, McTominay may not be regretting his decision to leave Manchester for Naples.
