Roy Keane delivered a clear response when asked whether he would be interested in taking over at Manchester United.
The Red Devils have endured another dismal start to the campaign as they currently sit 14th in the Premier League table, 10 points behind leaders Liverpool.
In all competitions, Erik ten Hag’s men are five matches without a win after losing to Tottenham Hotspur and drawing against the likes of Crystal Palace, FC Twente, FC Porto and Aston Villa.
Ten Hag is now under increasing pressure after United board members, including Sir Jim Ratcliffe and Sir Dave Brailsford, held a seven-hour-long meeting to discuss the Dutchman’s future.
Appearing on the latest episode of The Overlap’s Stick To Fooball, Keane was asked by Arsenal legend Ian Wright whether he would take charge of United.
The Irishman replied: “They’re not gonna be asking me. They just wouldn’t. . they just wouldn’t.”
Keane then explained: “I’m not saying he’s not a good manager or he hasn’t got good coaching staff, but in the summer they changed all the coaching staff! So you’re on about a manager having a bit of power and control of the football club I’ll bet you Ten Hag’s got none of that!
“So players will look at the manager and go, ‘well, all your staff went in the summer. I didn’t see you fighting for any of them. You’re bringing more staff in.’ I just think it looks chaotic, doesn’t it?”

Wright then pushed for a definitive answer, Keane replied: “I’m not leaving you, Wrighty.”
When asked about Ten Hag’s future last week, Ratcliffe said: “I like Erik. I think he’s a very good coach but at the end of the day it’s not my call.
“But that team that’s running Manchester United has only been together since June or July. They weren’t there in January, February, March or April – [CEO] Omar [Berrada], [sporting director] Dan Ashworth – they only arrived in July. They’ve only been there… you can count it in weeks almost – they’ve not been there a long time, so they need to take stock and make some sensible decisions.”
