An old video of Cole Palmer seemingly predicting scoring four goals has gone viral following his remarkable display against Brighton.

Palmer scored FOUR goals as Chelsea beat Brighton 4-2 in a thrilling Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Saturday.

He scored his first goal in the 21st minute before adding a second from the spot.

The England international brought up his hat-trick with a sensational free-kick in the 31st minute.

And he bagged his fourth goal 10 minutes later, becoming the first player to score four times before half time in a single Premier League match.

After his goal-scoring heroics, a video of Palmer appearing to predict his four-goal haul emerged on social media.

In what looks like a shoot with broadcasters ahead of the new season, the 22-year-old can be seen gesturing four goals after being asked to point three fingers for a hat-trick.

“What about four,” he said, before gesturing four goals with his fingers.

Well, there’s a graphic ready for Palmer’s four-goal showing against Brighton.

The former Manchester City player has started the new season where he left off from the previous campaign, having netted an impressive 25 goals in all competitions.

He already has six goals to his name this season as he’s on course to enjoy another ultra-prolific term.
