Thomas Partey has returned to Arsenal training in a timely boost to Mikel Arteta’s side.
The Gunners are gearing up for a big week as they take on Lens in the Champions League before facing Manchester City on Sunday.
The midfielder has been out of action since before the September international break with a groin injury that he picked up on the eve of the clash with Manchester United.
As a result, he missed the 3-1 win over the Red Devils as well as fixtures with Everton, PSV, Tottenham, Brentford and Bournemouth.
However Partey is now back in contention, as is Bukayo Saka.
The England winger was also spotted participating in training on Monday.
Saka had been an injury doubt for the clash with Bournemouth at the weekend and left fans worried after hobbling off in the second half of the 4-0 win.
But his appearance in training is good news for Arteta’s side.
Gabriel Jesus also took part in training despite needing treatment towards the end of the clash with the Cherries, however Gabriel Martinelli was nowhere to be seen.
Martinelli has missed Arsenal’s last four matches with a hamstring injury and appears to be some way from a return.
