Jack Grealish has been the latest player to be the victim of a burglary in his own home. Burglars broke into the player’s home while he was playing a match with Manchester City against Everton in Liverpool.

Those who were at home watching the game on television were his parents, his two sisters, his brother and his grandmother. All of them realized that something was wrong when they began to hear dogs barking after some suspicious noises upstairs.

According to The Sun, a source close to the family said that “no one was hurt, but there was a lot of panic”.

“Everyone was terrified because they were so vulnerable. It’s a huge property, so it’s understandable that at first no one heard anything. It was also the first time the family had visited, so they were unfamiliar with the property,” commented this anonymous source.

Thanks to the reaction of their dogs, the family was able to press the alarm so that the police arrived quickly and prevented personal injury.

However, the assailants had enough time to make off with jewelry and watches worth up to one million euros and escape from the house without being arrested.
