Liverpool will face Atalanta in the Europa League quarter-final, while West Ham United will play Bayer Leverkusen.
Liverpool comfortably advanced to the Europa League quarter-finals with a resounding 6-1 victory over Sparta Prague at Anfield, securing an 11-2 aggregate win in the tie. Atalanta, meanwhile, progressed to the next round after defeating Sporting Lisbon 2-1 to qualify on a 3-2 aggregate victory.
The winners of the tie will face either Benfica or Marseille in the semi-final.
Mohammed Kudus’ excellent brace, meanwhile, capped off a fantastic Thursday night for West Ham as they cruised into the last eight with a commanding 5-1 aggregate victory over Freiburg.
Patrik Schick netted two goals during stoppage time, propelling Xabi Alonso’s Leverkusen to a dramatic victory over Qarabag, which also extended their impressive season-long unbeaten streak.
The winners of that clash will play either Milan or Roma in the other semi-final.
