Inter had a great night in the Champions League on Wednesday, Simone Inzaghi’s side thrashing Viktoria Plzen 4-0 to book their place in the last 16 in a group of death with Bayern Munich and Barcelona.
The Italian team took to social media to celebrate and take a jab at those that won’t be progressing, likely annoying Juventus fans, and possibly Barcelona ones as well: « Attention: This tweet can only be retweeted by those who have qualified for the last 16 of the Champions League. »
Spanish Account
One of the details that should be noted is that the tweet came from the @Inter_es account (the Spanish account of the Italian team) and not from the more ‘official’ Inter account (its Italian account).
The club’s English account did also put out a similar tweet, asking fans to retweet if their club qualified for the knockout stages.
