Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola has shed some light on Erling Haaland’s injury ahead of his team’s Champions League clash against Spanish side Sevilla.
Haaland, who’s scored 17 goals in 11 Premier League appearances for the Manchester side this season, was seen limping around City’s training ground late last week, images which caused major concern for Pep and his team.
Guardiola revealed that although the striker is feeling better, he’s still not 100% fit. « Comparing Saturday and Sunday, even Monday, every day feels better. But still, is not 100 per cent. We don’t want to take a risk, is no sense. Hopefully we can have him against Fulham », Pep explained in the Champions League pre-match press conference.
After this week’s final Champions League group match, the ‘Citizens’ travel to Craven Cottage on November 5th to face Marco Silva’s Fulham.
