Man United boss Erik ten Hag has been under severe pressure at several points during the current season and Sky Sports pundit, Jamie Redknapp, believes Alejandro Garnacho has kept the Dutch coach in the Old Trafford hotseat.
It was been a poor season overall for Man United but recent results have boosted the mood at the Manchester club as the Red Devils have won four matches in a row.
Garnacho has played 90 minutes in all of those games and Redknapp believes the winger has kept his under pressure manager in a job.
“To a certain extent, he has kept a manager who was massively under pressure, out of that pressure, because he’s led the way with some incredible moments for a young man,” the Sky Sports pundit said during their broadcast of Luton Town vs Man United.
This is big praise for the Argentina star and being only 19, it is scary to think of what the winger can become at Old Trafford having already netted seven goals this season for the Manchester side.
