Chelsea attacker Cole Palmer has had an impressive season with the Blues despite their struggles as a team this season.
The 21-year-old joined Chelsea from Manchester City at the start of the season and he has hit the ground running at his new club. Chelsea struggled as a team but Palmer has been consistent with his performances and he is set to be rewarded with a new contract.
The 21-year-old attacker signed a seven-year contract with Chelsea when he joined the club and he earns around £75,000 a week. The new deal will see him double his wages to around £150,000 a week, according to Daily Star.
Palmer has certainly earned the pay rise with his performances this season. He has 15 goals across all competitions and 11 assists along the way as well. There is no doubt that he has been the best attacker at the club and he has been one of the best attackers in the Premier League as well.

The former Manchester City player is still only 21 and he will improve with coaching and experience. He could develop into a top class Premier League player in the coming seasons.
Chelsea must do everything in their power to keep him happy and hold onto him for as long as possible. Offering him a reward for his performances this season seems like a wise decision.
Palmer will look to continue his impressive run of form and help Chelsea finish the season as strongly as possible. They are in the mid-table positions right now and European qualification seems quite unlikely.
