Arsenal signed Martin Odegaard back in 2021 for just €35 million from Real Madrid, and it turned out to be an absolute masterstroke.
Fast forward to three years later, Arsenal aim to pull off another exceptional signing for someone that has been labelled “the next Odegaard”. The Gunners will attempt to outmaneuver their north London counterparts, Tottenham, in the pursuit of Club Brugge winger Antonio Nusa this summer.
The 18-year-old Norwegian international has drawn interest from various Premier League clubs, including Manchester City and Chelsea. However, reports from Fichajes.net indicate that Arsenal and Tottenham are poised to engage in a battle for one of Europe’s most promising young talents.
With Nusa’s international teammate Martin Odegaard already part of the Arsenal squad, the Gunners might have the upper hand in securing his signature in a potential summer transfer battle. Nusa, a left winger who is also eligible to represent Nigeria, remains under contract with Club Brugge until 2027.

Speaking to Voetbal Primeur, back in September, Norwegian international Odegaard commented on his fellow countryman’s promising start to his career.
“He is an incredibly exciting player. You see it, everything he gets the ball, it’s exciting. He is still young and will get even better. He must continue as he has done. Work hard, be humble.”
This season, Nusa has tallied three goals and three assists to his name in 19 appearances (nine starts) for Club Brugge.
